espresso bike
i happened upon this post on dcily.(dear coffee i love you) i am totes jealous. a pair of design students in london made a espresso bike with a petal operated grinder! the grinder is driven by a carbon belt that propels the trike as well. lever espresso machine and a camp stove and they have a espresso bar on wheels. pretty cool and all space age-ee.
i never have enough storage on my bike, wonder how they do? (i should email and/or tweet them)

hola people. hope all is well. fall is upon us. leaves changing, weather getting cooler, rain is here, days are shorter… anyways.
wanted to share some pics from the world wide web. some great looking bikes out there. but these are pics of the fixie kind. i don’t have too much experience with riding fixed, but definitely appreciate their style and simplicity.

it is july and it was a gorgeous day to celebrate the fourth. hope you all had a fun and safe holiday!
pourpour coffee started the day with a great bike parade in laurelhurst. a fun crowd, with lots of kids dressed up in red, white, and blue and riding bikes!
and for the last 13 years july has meant tour de france time! always a grand spectacle and always lots of exciting racing. i have been keeping up on the internet, but look forward to seeing some coverage on television. especially would like to catch a mountain stage.
do you think they need pourpour coffee at the tour?
